Data Storage & Security

Our goal at Airstory is to help you streamline the content creation process in order to help you do your best work; to this end, Airstory is committed to the safety and security of your personal identifying information ("PII") and your Airstory content (known as, "Your Stuff").

Airstory agrees to use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure of Your Stuff.

Airstory data is securely stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centres. AWS supports security standards and compliance certifications including PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FedRAMP, EU Data Protection Directive, and FISMA, helping satisfy compliance requirements for virtually every regulatory agency around the globe.

All communication between Airstory and AWS is encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer and the data stores themselves are behind firewalls and are not accessible via the internet. Further, every communication between Airstory and AWS is signed using the Signature Version 4 Signing Process, and access to these services is managed using AWS Identity and Access Management. Just as all communication between Airstory and AWS is encrypted, so too is the data sent from your web browser to Airstory servers.

There are features in Airstory which allow you to publish and share Your Stuff with others, but these are totally optional and whether or not you use them is up to you. If you choose to connect your Airstory account with one of the many integrations we offer, you may be giving the partner access to some or all of Your Stuff. We will tell you how the integration will access your account and you can turn off access whenever you want.

Bottom line: We care about and strive to keep your PII & Your Stuff safe and secure and we use best-in-class Amazon Web Services to accomplish this goal.
