Spell & Grammar Checker

Currently, Airstory utilizes a browser-based spell checker to highlight spelling errors - denoted by a red, squiggly underline.  

While we're working on developing a more robust spell and grammar checker we've found two free alternatives that you might also find helpful: 'Ginger' and 'After The Deadline' .

1. If you prefer a browser extension for your grammar and spelling sweeps, Ginger offers a robust grammar, punctuation and spell checker for Chrome and Safari browsers here.

2. From the makers of Wordpress.com, 'After the Deadline' is a free, open source language checker available for the web with:

  • Contextual Spell Checking
  • Advanced Style Checking
  • Intelligent Grammar Checking

When using After the Deadline we find it most helpful to write content first, then activate the app to help with revisions.
